Therapy and Counselling Services
At Cornerstone Psychological Services we believe in providing mental health services that treat underlying issues - not short-term “band-aid” solutions that simply manage symptoms or surface problems. This means that our therapy clients get the help they need with an aim toward optimizing their fullest potential. The goal is fewer ‘failed’ or ‘repeat’ courses of therapy that can lead to frustration and requires additional time, money, and resources. We offer several systems of intervention, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Short-Term Psychodynamic Therapy. Our approach does not necessarily mean a longer course of therapy - only a more holistic view of what it should entail.
